Learning with Parents is delighted to have exhibited at BETT again in 2023. This time we joined our supporter, Promethean, on their stand to talk to schools and MATs about parental engagement and the launch of our new digital reading log.
We want to say a big thank you to everyone who came to talk to us. It was amazing to meet so many teachers from all over the country and see your appetite for our digital reading log and homework programme.
Digital reading log launch
BETT 2023 was a great start to our reading log launch, and we saw so much enthusiasm for a digital, inclusive way to record reading in place of physical reading log books.
Using Promethean’s interactive screens, we gave teachers live demonstrations of how easy it is for parents to show their child’s teachers what books they are reading, and how often they are reading at home.

We loved hearing all of the positive feedback on how easy it is to track weekly reading, both at home and in school. As it’s all digital, it can’t get lost and lose all the child’s valuable records, and with our built-in analytics tracking teachers can easily see who hasn’t read.
It was also great to hear how useful our audio clips are, making reading more enjoyable for parents and children, and allowing teachers to hear reading progress over time.
You can read more about our reading log here, and how it has increased parental engagement for one of our partner schools.
Personal highlights
It was great to catch up with some of our partners, and to be introduced to other like-minded organisations seeking to support disadvantaged families. My personal highlight was having so many discussions with teachers, parents, and people from other EdTech organisations about the importance of supporting families to engage in their children’s education.
If you weren’t at BETT but want to hear more about our reading log and homework programme, please get in touch!
