English with Parents

We support over 20,000 families across the UK to enjoy learning maths together.

We partner with schools to reach the most disadvantaged children.

We lead the Parental Engagement Policy Group, bringing together policymakers, educational organisations and researchers. The Group promotes parental engagement as a tool to narrow the disadvantage gap.
We are developing new resources for the English curriculum, starting in Key Stage 1.

These resources will be trialled in partner schools over the next year.

Our story

The initial spark for Maths with Parents came when Tom Harbour was teaching in a school in Leicester.

Through completing a Masters researching parental engagement, Tom saw what an important role parents have in supporting their child’s learning.

From the start, Learning with Parents has aimed to support all children, with a particular focus on motivating and empowering the most disadvantaged families.
