Set a topic for your class
Schedule curriculum-aligned topics from Early Years to Year 6. Families are sent a child-led video and hands-on activities to explore at home.
Families learn together
Parents and children watch the video and complete the activities offline. Activities are open-ended and accessible for everyone.
See their engagement
Keep track of engagement through the register view and families’ comments and photos. Pupils are rewarded with stickers, certificates and items for their Mathscot character.
Regular reports and updates throughout the school year
School leaders monitor engagement across the school using their dashboard. Termly impact summaries also highlight engagement and Pupil Premium pupils’ usage to help ensure we are supporting all families.

Our platform

The importance of parental engagement
Parents are key to their child’s success in life. For every child to fulfil their potential they must be supported effectively at home yet as teachers we can feel powerless to influence this.
In partnership with schools, our platform motivates and empowers over 20,000 parents to engage in their children’s learning.
The Learning with Parents platform is provided by Learning with Parents, a registered charity (CIO). We lead the Parental Engagement Forum, partnering with other leading organisations to address educational inequality through effective parental engagement in disadvantaged communities.
