At Learning with Parents, our programme is continually shaped by the feedback we receive from the parents and teachers using our platform. From auto-fill book names for parents to data report downloads for teachers, many of the features we add to our platform are generated directly from ideas shared by our users. That’s why we get so excited about going through the feedback from our end-of-year survey!
The results from the latest surveys are in and we can’t wait to share them…
What teachers said...
Teachers are the resident experts in their schools and the cornerstones of the effective delivery of our programme. We strive to cultivate excellent relationships with the teachers using our programmes, so we have regular communications and meetings to give them the support they need to engage their families in home learning.
We asked our teachers to score us on the support we give to schools, our content and the effectiveness of our platform for tracking engagement. Here are the highlights:
76% of teachers agreed that they are confident tracking class engagement on Learning with Parents
Schools have so many unique ways of tracking engagement and we want to ensure our platform is effective for all schools. To help teachers, we’ve been busy adding new ways for them to track engagement from families. School leaders can now export and download their data, and teachers have a whole new class view to help measure engagement more effectively. We have even more engagement tracking changes still to come – including data dashboards!
75% of teachers agree that the platform is simple to use
Keeping the platform simple to use is always a delicate balance when adding extra features and we’re thrilled that our efforts have paid off!
69% of teachers agree that Learning with Parents has reduced their workload compared to setting traditional homework.
Teacher workload is a top priority for us, especially knowing how busy our teachers already are. We’re so pleased to see positive results on this topic, and we’ll always be working on ways to reduce teacher workload in our programme.
I’ve really enjoyed working with you and appreciate the awesome platform you created and the support it’s provided for me and the school I work at.

What parents said...
For our parent survey, we kept it short and sweet. We know how busy parents are and we don’t want to keep them from their learning activities with their children! We make sure to only ask parents to fill in the survey after they have logged a home learning activity.
We focused on parent enjoyment, ease of use on our platform, and our reminders system.
75% of parents agree that both they and their child enjoy learning through Learning with Parents
Our content managers are constantly working on our topics and activities to make sure they’re fun and engaging for both parents and children. Making learning playful is one of our core priorities!
68% of parents agree they find our website easy to use
Every aspect of the parent accounts on Learning with Parents has been designed with accessibility in mind. We keep it simple: we’ve removed the need to remember passwords and designed everything to look and work best on a mobile phone, as we know this is how most of our families access our platform.
62% agree that they find our email and text reminders useful
As part of our work to remove passwords, parents are sent their own “magic link” to log in, in the form of an email or text. These notifications are a great reminder to log reading too!
“With each activity we finish we create beautiful moments together”
“It is easy to record readings and can record audio and pictures. And it got my child interested in reading every night before bed.”
